Token issues when using Chrome Headless mode or no Chrome extension

using 2022.2.804.0

Hi,

Given I do not enable the Chrome extension or I run in Chrome Headless mode,

When I attempt to access the url https://make.powerapps.com

Then I get the following Network error

Hello Dan,

I appreciate your follow up with more details. I am happy to say that we have identified what is causing the issue and our development team will look into two different possible solutions. It is difficult to give you an estimate for a fix at this point, but please be sure that we will update this thread with new information.

The good news is that the automation on this page is still possible with the browser extension, which provides a workaround for now.

FYI, folks using Selenium.WebDriver.ChromeDriver (v103.0.5060.13400) do NOT have this issue.

Hello Dan,

Thank you for sharing details about the encountered issue. I converted your original support ticket to this public bug report, where you can add your vote and follow to get notifications on its progress.

It looks like this application and probably other Microsoft applications have built-in mechanism to stop the automation in extensionless and headless mode. Since Google plans to remove the browser extensions for Chrome next year, we will focus on such issues and try to resolve them. Our team will update this public item with any new information or fix.
