Hi,

Thank you for updating the feature request with valuable information. I understand you point of view and how the monitor scaling is reducing the actual value of the high resolution monitor. We will reproduce the environment on your end and investigate it further with the rise of more and more high resolution setups.

Your feedback will be considered from our team, when we evaluate this feature request and plan it.

Mine is scaled at 150 which seems to be common among many with 4k screens.  Bumped it to 200, and yes, Test Studio is much easier to "read" but less useful since I've essentially voided the extra real estate provided by 4k.  Plus, test recording is awkward, though still possible, when selecting elements.  I care less about the buttons on the toolbar, I can learn where those buttons are.  But the small text is the most difficult part.  Plus, I'm no longer in my 20's :)

Lastly, I do recognize that adding the feature many other applications have to control the magnification of elements in a view or the font sizes used can be more difficult for some products depending on what components were utilized to create the UI.

Hi Jeremy,

Thank you for sharing your experience with different Windows settings in regards to Test Studio's UI. As you mentioned, those options did not affect the text or element size. What you can do is, change the Windows scaling percentages to a larger percent than you currently have. That will scale most applications on your screen, including Test Studio. I understand that this is not the best option, but could be helpful in some cases.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, while we analyze and plan this feature for future releases.

Unfortunately, the UI of Test Studio is not affected by the Windows DPI or Ease Of Access settings that control the size of elements in applications.

Hello Ron,

The font size in Test Studio is fixed in the current version. I converted this thread to a public feature request to make the font size configurable and our engineering team will investigate it further. Please follow this item for notifications of its progress.

As a workaround for the text size, you can try changing the Windows scaling and zoom options on your machine. I understand that this will affect all applications and might not be ideal.

Thank you for your valuable feedback.
