Can't shrink width of left-side panes

I'm unable to shrink the width of the Test Explorer and Element Explorer.

In the attached file I'm unable to move the bar (highlighted with the red line) at all to the left.

I'd like to be able to shrink the width to the left, as both panes take up more room than necessary.

(SIDE NOTE: For some reason, the required "Version" drop-down only gave me versions way back to 2014. I'm on 2019.1.212.0)

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the additional notes on the case. Your request was converted to a feature request and is listed in our public portal - it will be reviewed and considered by the development team and will be probably planned for any of our future releases.

Thanks, Elena.

The minimum width for this is much too wide. I would like the ability to shrink the panes to at least half, if not more, of their current width.

Having this flexibility would be very good for people who aren't working on high-resolution systems, or people who have accessibility issues. This flexibility would enable them to have more display of the test and code panes.

Hello Jim,

Thank you for contacting us with details for the encountered difficulties.

Based on the shared screenshot it seems you have shrunk the left side panes to their narrowest possible state. However, if you need to completely hide these, you can use the Pin icon at the right upper corner of each panel to unpin it from the Test Studio window. This will move the panels for Test Explorer and Elements Explorer as tabs on the left side, which can be shown by hovering over the mouse. The same is described (at the bottom of the article) here along with the other possible custom layout options you have in Test Studio.

I hope this will be useful for you as well. However in case you have any concerns, please let us know.
