RichTextEditor: Source and output can also be in markdown

Hello Telerik.

Currently using your RichTextControl and it is working well.

One feature I would love is if the source and output could also be markdown.

Currently you only support the source as HTML as well as the output is HTML.

I am storing the data in markdown for various reasons and the constant conversion to and from markdown/HTML would be nice to avoid.

Thank you for your feedback and submitted feature request. I agree it is a valid request and I have changed its status to "Unplanned".

In addition the Telerik Document Processing library we use to import/export documents in different format has a markdown support format logged as a feature request: https://feedback.telerik.com/document-processing/1496085-wordsprocessing-add-support-for-markdown-format - Cast you vote for this item and follow it to receive an email notification when there is an update.
