Hello Vinu,

The fix is included in the latest official version of Telerik UI for Xamarin 2021.2.615.1. Please update to this version and test the fix on your side.

Hi Didi,

Has the fix passed testing and the service package is released?

Thanks,

Hello Vinu,

We have been reported a similar issue in DayView mode and actually, this is the same issue you have reproduced on your side.

I have changed the status of this item to "Duplicated" and here is the initial bug report: https://feedback.telerik.com/xamarin/1366145-calendar-android-appointments-overlap-on-specific-cases-when-in-dayview-mode -> The item status is "In Development". The dev team researched the case further and provided a fix for this issue. If passing testing the fix will be included in the next release (ServicePack) expected next week.

If you want I can send you the pre-release dlls, so you can test the fix on your side. Let me know whether this is an option for you.

Regards,
Didi

I have tried on both Android mobile and Android Emulator of Version 9. I am getting this overlapping problem.
I have attached the XAML's for CalenderPage and TemplatePage. Please check it.

Hello Vinu,

I have added these appointments to the calendar but still no issues on my side in DayView Mode.

On which Android device/emulator version the issue can be reproduced. Please send me the calendar definition in XAML, and how the appointments are added to the calendar AppointmentsSource.

Didi

Hi ,

Thank you for your reply.

Can you create the following four appointments for the same day and then check whether it is overlapping for you?

Appointment 1 : 00:00 - 23:59

Appointment 2 : 08:00 - 16:30

Appointment 3 : 13:00 - 16:30

Appointment 4 : 13:30 - 20:00

I have attached the snapshot for the overlapping of the above appointments .

Thanks,

Vinu Priya.

Hello Vinu,

Thank you for the provided image.

I have tried to reproduce the issue but on my side, the appointments are not overlapped. Maybe I am missing something in the setup.

Here is how it looks on my side:

Please send us a sample project where the issue could be reproduced. You can attach your files to this public item. If there is sensitive information that you do not want to share in the public item, open a support ticket and attach the project there.

I look forward to your reply.
