pdfviewer show "an error occurred while loading the document" on android in release

Hi,

I had developed an Xamarin application, in a modal I open a PdfViewer.

PdfViewerPage pdfViewer = new PdfViewerPage(item.IdAllegato, item.Path, item.FlagScaricabile);

Navigation.PushModalAsync(pdfViewer);

I assign a url to the PdfViewer source.

pdfViewer.Source = new Uri(uri);

Everything is fine in debug mode but when I publish the app on android the PdfViewer show "an error occurred while loading the document" with all pdf.

Hello Giuseppe,

We have noticed that you have logged a public bug report for Telerik Reporting but the information provided in the item is related to the Telerik UI for Xamarin PdfViewer control. Reporting and Telerik UI for Xamarin are different products.

We have changed the bug report product to UI for Xamarin. I have declined this bug report as based on your reply here https://www.telerik.com/forums/pdfviewer-show-an-error-occurred-while-loading-the-document-on-android-in-release#Xx-kN-76wk2xBE0Dl4v_Nw the issue was related to the uri address and changing it to https solved the exception.
