SlideView: SelectedIndex is not updated correctly with two views
SelectedIndex does not stay in sync when removing items from ObservableCollection bound as ItemsSource.  When deleting Index 2, SelectedIndex correctly moves to 1, but Slideview moves to index 0

Hi John,

I expect the dev team to start researching the issue next week. So they could evaluate its severity and estimate the time-frame when a fix for it will be provided. 

I am positive we'll be able to provide a fix for both issues soon.

We need a fix for this ASAP due to customer complaints.  

Just as an FYI, this SlideView: IsInfiniteScrollingEnabled is not working when two items are in the collection. is already marked as in Development, maybe you can knock both of these issue out at one time.  Hopefully soon.
