Xamarin Forms SVG Image

An image supporting SVG would be nice (or is there any ?)

There are also many developers looking for SVG support on Xamarin forums so I think there is really a market for it!

Thank you for your comment on the SVG support. Currently this is not in our immediate plans, still, we're keeping an eye on the feedback item and the customers' demand.

Yes please add SVG support, it solves so many problems.

Telerik Winforms already is capable of using SVG: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/winforms/telerik-presentation-framework/vector-images-support and it has just a simple PictureBox with SVG support: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/winforms/controls/picturebox/overview.

Maybe it will not be available on all platforms but on all newer mobiles it will certainly work.

Hi Werner,

Thank you for sending this suggestion - indeed svg image support would be a nice addition to UI for Xamarin suite.

I've converted the thread into a public feature request, so we could keep track of the demand regarding such a feature.

I've also updated your points for your involvement.
