Add an image cropper control

Add a new image cropper control, which allows users to drag/zoom a selected image within a defined frame, so that the resulting image has a defined width and height.   This should offer an experience similar to the Facebook app's screen for adding/updating your profile photo.   The control should display the non-selected area of the photo with configurable opacity settings, and optionally allow for a resulting circular image.

With R3 2019 Official Release of Telerik UI for Xamarin - RadImageEditor CropToolbarItem provides options for specifying the geometry of the crop selection and the desired aspect ratio. The available options by default are: Free, Original, Square, Circle, 3:2, 4:3, 16:9. For sample demos check the SDK Browser app and the QSF Demo app. 

Regarding to the following request: "The control should display the non-selected area of the photo with configurable opacity settings" - I have logged a feature request in our Feedback portal. You can follow and vote for the item at the link below:

The Circular and Square cropper functionaries are scheduled for R3 2019 official release (expected in the mid-September). Please note that we might not make it in the release, if any unforeseen circumstances occur.

in which release can we expect to have a circular and square copping functionality available ?

Hello,

Cropper control was introduced as a part of the ImageEditorToolbar with the R2 2019 Official Release. For more detail please check the ImageTransformation article from our documentation.

The status of the Feedback item is changed from Completed to Approved because the Cropper does not support the functionalities listed in the items's description.
