TreeView: [iOS] using custom ItemTemplate with modified height (bigger than 44) does not show correctly.

When there is custom template applied that hosts multiple rows of UI components with total height greater than 44, the template is not measured correctly, leading to wrong visualization.

Hi Martin,

This specific issue is fixed in our latest official version. Unfortunately, you have encountered another issue which is represented the same way. This is why I have logged another BugReport in our feedback portal.
The good news is that I have managed to fix the new issue as well. We are ready to send you a private build containing this fix since there is no workaround available. The only restriction we have at this time is the fact that we are now communicating in our feedback portal which is public and we cannot upload our binaries here. Please open a new support ticket and reference the newly provided feedback item in it and note us that we should provide you with a private build. This will allow us to privately send you the binaries. I believe the rest of the issues you have mentioned here will also be addressed with the private build. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Didi can you confirm this issue is still not fixed in current Telerik Xamarin UI v2019.2.802.1? We are using the TreeView with item height set to 150, because we are displaying an image at several items. So now the TreeView is broken on iOS. ExpandCollapseIndicator is not reacting, item selection is broken, because the underling item container is on fixed height 44 rather than being expanded to 150, and items seem to jump on scrolling the TreeView down. Our app is broken!

Please supply a workaround, can't wait until it's fixed.. Is there anything possible with a custom RadTreeView renderer on iOS?

Hello Du,

The current status of the item is Approved. We will have this issue in mind when planning our next iterations. Currently, I could suggest you follow the item in order to receive an email notification when there is any progress on it.
