Hello Tejas,
At this point pull to refresh functionality for RadDataGrid is not in our immediate plans for the upcoming release. Still, we're keeping an eye on the item and tracking the demand.  
I am afraid there isn't an alternative approach for this functionality I can suggest. We will update the feature request status as soon as there's any progress on the task.
