CartesianChart: Introduce PointSeries
Currently RadChart provides only a ScatterPointSeries which does not support categorical axes and you can only use a numerical one.

Hello Bryan,

Thank you for posting your comment.  Indeed, this feature is still not implemented in RadChart and this is mainly due to the fact there were other features with higher priority.  We're regularly reviewing the feature requests in our feedback portal, track the demand through votes as well as customers' inquiries about these features, and this affects our next release planning.

In the concrete case, there wasn't much interest in PointSeries so far, so the feature is not in our immediate planning for the next release this year.

I am sorry for any inconvenience caused,

Regards,
Yana

It has bee over 3 years since this was suggested, are there any plans to actually implement this.  Currently this can be done on almost all of your other components.  I'm not really seeing the limitation on the reason why you cannot already do this kind of categorical series with a scatterplot.

Hi Ingrid,

Thank you for your comment. Indeed, this is supported on native iOS Chart control ( which is wrapped in Xamarin.Forms), however, as you pointed out it is not available for native Android Chart. That's why we're considering it as a feature request for Chart for Xamarin.

Hello.

Strangely, I try this (CategoricalAxis for XValue and NumericalAxis for YValue) on iOS and works fine, but not on Android.
Hope this info would help, so you can just try to figure out the chart on Android platform (dont know on Windows), which could be easier.

Cheers !
