TabView: Selected item style
It would be nice to have an own configuration block for the selected item styling. This could be similar to the header template configuration.

Hello,

please excuse me for the late reply as I have missed your answer previously and just came across it when reviewing the feedback items regarding the RadTabView component. I have approved the feature request so we can consider implementing the behavior in some of our future releases. However, at this point there are other items with higher priority and we probably won't provide this functionality in the next couple of releases so keep following it in order to receive notifications once we have any progress. If other users vote for the item or report that the functionality is desired, we will make sure to increase the its priority.

Regards,
Stefan

Hello,
Sure this will work, but it's not a very nice solution for me. In case that the selected tab should not only differ in the text color it would work, but I need to change the controls if a tab has been selected (e.g. other icon). In that case it's not possible to use XAML anymore, but I have to implement the whole header template in code to switch between the two templates.

Hello Christian,

We had an internal discussion within the team regarding this feature request, however, we believe that the possibility to directly set the control template of a custom TabViewHeaderItem is intuitive enough for achieving the behavior. We have updated the TabViewHeaderItem article so that it shows how you can control the apperance of the selected item - http://docs.telerik.com/devtools/xamarin/controls/tabview/features/tabview-features-tabviewheader#custom-tabviewheader. Would this work for you? Any more detailed feedback will be appreciated.
