test studio runtime .net version

We have an installation of the Telerik runtime that appears as though it may be reliant on Microsoft.NET Core 6.0.36.34214 and ASP.NET Core 6.0.36.
These are being flagged by our security scans as a critical vulnerability as the Security End of Life for .NET Core 6 ended November 12, 2024.

Could you please confirm if Telerik Runtime is reliant on Microsoft.NET Core 6.0.36.34214 and ASP.NET Core 6.0.36, and if so, provide the timelines for a patch to address the dependent libraries?

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for following up in the private support thread. As a result of the investigation it turned out that the .NET Core Runtime shared libraries are not related to the installation of Test Studio Runtime Edition and there are no concerns left.

I appreciate your cooperation throughout our conversation.

I discussed your concern with the engineering team of Test Studio and we checked the code and references throughout the product. Telerik Test Studio application is based on .NET Framework and there are no specific dependencies on .NET Core 6 or ASP.NET Core 6.

I still believe that we should explore the issue further and sort out any possible doubts from your end. It will be best to continue the communication in a private support ticket, where we can exchange additional details for the case.
