Dashboard

Hello,

When we run Tests List using Test Studio Scheduler the results appear in Dashboard automatically.

However, that is not the case for the below.

We have few Tests Lists that we execute from Batch file using command line (CL) with ArtOfTest.Runner.exe .

I noticed that in this case Results show up in the Timeline but I have to manually publish them to the Dashboard.

In the Forum it looks like a lot of people expressed a wish to have the results appear in Dashboard automatically or have a utility we can run from CL to do that.

I submitted Ticket ID 1604324 and according to the response there is no feature like that available right now.

Would you please consider adding something that can make this possible.

Hi Max,

Thank you for describing the use case in details.

As you discussed with my colleague in the private support thread the current implementation is as follows:

The Dashboard stores the results of the test list runs initiated through the Scheduling setup.
The local test list runs store the results locally in the project root foler under Results.
The local test list results, including the CLI runs with the ArtOfTest.Runner.exe, can be manually published to the Storage server and thus be visible in the Dashboard.

Actually, back in the time there are also other customers asking for such a feature. Thus we have a public item describing the same - you can see the feature request here.

I will proceed closing the current item with Duplicate tag and will appreciate if you add your vote in the other public item as this will ease the monitoring from our end. To get notifications on any updates in that item, you can sign up through the Follow button.
