I wanted to follow up on this public item and share the possible reasons you experienced troubles with the Test Studio demo project. 

In the meantime we also continued the discussion for your specific needs in the ongoing private threads and we will continue working on these if needed. 

Here are the notes about the mentioned tests from the demo project:

--for Test #3 - Fill Out and Submitting a from - this is a test designed to be used as a step in another test. So, it can't be executed successfully on its own. If you execute the main test - Test #3 - Fill Out and Submitting a form (containing multiple fields) (data-driven), you will see the actual outcome of the data driven test.

--CalculatorDesktopExample - this test relies on the application's User Model Id - this is how the test is configured. We decided to use the Windows calculator as an example because we can launch that app on almost each Windows OS with the same User Model Id. However the Windows Server edition is being deployed with a completely different calculator app - it is being started with an *.exe file and is totally different application. So, if this is the type of Windows OS you use, that specific test will not work for you.
