Feature request: It would be really great if there was a way to add documentation to a test

I know you have comment steps, and I can do this in the Code behind, but what if there are no coded steps? I would like a way to have a place to describe my test and give the ability to include TODOs, limitations, etc.

Hello,

We have implemented some enhancement for the comment steps so that you can type multiple lines in that step. These will be available in our next official release expected at the beginning of August.

I will appreciate if you explore the comment step once our release is out.

The comment step does not display very many lines when you are looking at the steps. In my test, there are prerequisites for execution that I would like to list for the developer, and I wanted a big space for it to be displayed. When I created a list of prerequisites, I only saw part of it when I opened the test, and I didn't find that to be helpful. I don't like using the description field because it is not readily visible when you are viewing the test steps.

Hi Terry,

Thank you for sharing your ideas for improvements.

You mentioned the Comment step from the Step Builder and it doesn't require a code-behind file. Do you have troubles with that one? Does it suit your needs?

There is one more place where you can add your custom notes for a test - these are the test properties. The Decription анд CustomProperty1,2,3 are user defined and you can modify them with additional information.

Please, let me know if these existing solutions are suitable and sufficient for what you are looking for.
