how to run telerik without administrator rights

I am presently working on a government contract and on a virtual machine they can not give me administrator rights because of resent hacks a policy.

Can I please get a contact number and email address that I can have the system administrator talk to and try to get this problem fixed because I am a contractor

and have been working with them to get this fixed and we have not been able to resolve this and because of this no testing is getting done for automation.

Please help I have been using telerik for over 5 years and this is the first time I have had this problem

Hello Donna,

I am happy to tell you that we might have already implemented a solution for your scenario in the latest release of Test Studio R2 version 2021.2.727.

The "Admin" user lever of access requirement is lifted for Test Studio. You need to install Test Studio from a Windows Administrator account and make sure that you cover all installation prerequisites. After that you will be able to use it without being admin on the machine.

If you want to configure the Test Studio Services or install Test Studio Run-Time, you will need a Windows Administrator account for that, too. But once everything is installed and configured, you can use our product from a non admin account.
