.NET Core / .NET 5.0 Support for WPF Applications

Telerik does not support test studio assemblies in .net standard and does not have a test runner in .net core. Considering all of our Azure DevOps and container agents are running linux we will not be able to use the tool.

Please add this feature to your product.

Hi, the release of .NET Core and .NET 5.0 WPF applications support is scheduled for July 27th.

Hi there,

 

What is the status of supporting .NET Core in the Test studio? I remember a conversation where the month july was mentioned as timeframe in which a new version for the test studio would be released with support for .NET Core

Hi Wim,

Thank you for your feedback!

We are trying to support all of our customers - the ones whose WPF applications are still on .NET 4.5 (or latest) and the ones that are migrating to the latest .NET ecosystem standards. This is why we are actively working on the .NET Core /.NET 5.0 support for WPF apps.

Hello Elena

 

.NET Core is now the standard of the .NET ecosystem.

Why still support versions that people will no longer use?

We have developed WPF application using .Net Core 3. But due lack of support in Test Studio we will not able able to use this tool.
