I would like to see a raw JavaScript capability. For instance, I need to extract cookie from the response but the response has domain and quality quantifiers and I only want the cookie value. JavaScript would enable to retrieve that information. In addition I need to be able to parse the body of the response to set variables needed for additional steps.

Thank you Ivan, I use only .net, but I think Power Shell is the best option. Coz you can execute both .net and cmd within the ps script.

Hi Eugeniy,

Thanks for you suggestions. I have one more questions about code execution:
Do you prefer to use standard IO operations( CMD terminal) so you can use any programming language( Power Shell, Python, Bash and etc.) or you wold like to execute only .net code?

I have just renamed the post to "Variable Converting".

Best Regards,
Ivan

I think most important is to add some universal way to execute .net code over the string.
May be the option "convert using Power Shell script" is possible. Or even cmd since terminals have standard input/output.
Also you can allow to compile Lambda Expression from text.

Answering to your question: string.Trim/Pad/ToLower/ToUpper, Uri.Encode/Decode. Don't for now, but i'll try to keep this post updated.

Could you please rename this post so everybody can see smth like "Variable Converting"

We have planned several additional conversion functions for the Set Variable Step - Url Encode/Decode, Base64 Decode, etc... I am afraid that we will not be able to include all useful functions for the next release, so now is an excellent moment to suggest functions that you would like to use :)
