Hi Daniel,

As I already mentioned in the other post,
https://feedback.telerik.com/Project/161/Feedback/Details/207072-problem-with-getrectangle-in-custom-users-application-using-chrome
we recently modified our product in a way that all the files are converted and opened as PDFs. That´s why both issues became critical for us. Some tests cannot find the proper frame in case they run no Firefox only. The rest of the browser can find the frame.

We really need a workaround or fixture for both of the issues which are related to PDFs.
Our goal was implementing a lot of tests by using Telerik Testing Framework and evaluate the test results. Apparently we don´t have test results at all. Telerik Testing Framework should be able to handle pages that has a panel with a PDF inside. In the future almost all of our pages will look like this.

Thanks for your understanding.

Best regards,

Zsolt

Hi Daniel,

Initially I logged this issue on Telerik Support page, later you colleague took it over to here. You said the bug won't be fixed. May I ask for an alternative solution or workaround for us?

We have many tests which are broken due to this problem. They all contains a RadGrid as well as they load a PDF too. Our tests functions can find the RadGrid if we run it on different browser than Firefox. We don't really want to skip a bunch of well-implemented tests on Firefox, only because this browser it not able to recognize a RadGrid component in the middle of our test functions.

We need a solution which works on all browsers. Please advise us something.

Best regards,
Zsolt

Telerik: this is specific browser change behavior when opening PDF documents, which is not supported by Telerik Testing Framework.
