Excel datasource doesn't work against XLSX
Databinding to an Excel .xlsx didn't work, it only worked to a .xls file. Considering that format is Office 97-2003 and it's 2016 I'd expect .xlsx to work. At the least I'd expect the app to give me a message stating it isn't supported.

We tried this fix and it was not successful.

It seems that this is still and issue for many customers, not sure if it is widespread, but just in case there was a "fix" for it given in a forum on the topic: http://www.telerik.com/forums/no-tables-displayed-in-select-table-dropdown-on-binding-excel
