It seems curently we cannot circumvent the change made by Microsoft that is breaking our Silverlight OOB recorder. More details in the following article: http://docs.telerik.com/teststudio/troubleshooting-guide/recording-problems-tg/silverlight-unable-connect-oob
We have logged a feature request for this: http://feedback.telerik.com/Project/161/Feedback/Details/168189-implement-sl-oob-recorder-that-works-with-latest-versions-of-silverlight

On further investigation the problem seems to be with the latest version of Silverlight (5.1.40728.0), not the OS. We have escalated the issue and it is of high priority to our developers.

It seems the problem appears on Win 8. We have logged a bug in our internal system.

My SL project is hosted on different domain (Say abcdomain). We browse and install SL OOB app on local machine using abcdomin credentials. When i open this app manually it will not ask abcdomain credential. The credentials are cached.
My local machine is on another domain (Say xyzdomain). I'm running TestStudio as Run as Administrator and "Configure Silverlight Out-Of-Browser recording options". Finally when i click on record the window is opening and record feature is enabled, But SL OOB app is showing blank screen and after few seconds i am getting popup message and when i click on Yes it is redirecting to http://docs.telerik.com/teststudio/troubleshooting-guide/recording-problems-tg/silverlight-unable-connect.
