We have identified two different problems with Compare Mode selection in recording options which prevent the correct merging of the elements when the RelativePathOnly value is selected.

The first one is that the value is not honored by the JS recorder at all - it is not set correctly to the page elements.

The second is a failure to merge the elements even if the correct value is set to the page element. (reproducible with IE)

Both issues are logged in our internal system (and linked to this item) and will be processed by our developers.
