Large projects with large set of files takes much too long to backup

A test project with thousands of files (most of them in the Results folder) may take hours to create the backup as part of a project upgrade. One customer (see ticket 890193) has 904,482 Files and 4,352 Folders total and gave up on the project upgrade after waiting 4 days for it to finish (with no progress indicator). This amount of slowness is considered unacceptable, especially with no progress indicator.

We have added the option to skip backing up the Results folder (when there are a lot of files in it). This improvement will be available in the next internal build.

That particular customer worked around the problem by deleting the contents of the Results folder prior to doing the project upgrade. This time the backup went very quick.
