"IUnitTestStorage.Open should be called before operation can continue." error after upgrading Test Studio

After upgrading to version 2014.2.618 I get the following error in VS:
"IUnitTestStorage.Open should be called before operation can continue." error after upgrading Test Studio

I had this error with VS2015 while trying to build the sample walkthrough SQL Unit Test project from microsoft here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj851212(v=vs.103).aspx

I did a repair install of Telerik Test Framework (I do not have the Telerik control panel or any other paid products installed) and I was then able to build the project.

Unfortunately this is a problem in Visual Studio and is out of our control. We cannot do anything to fix the problem. The workaround (re-install Test Studio) should be used if anyone stummbles upon that issue.

Yep, apparently there is a problem with the upgrade. We will investigate further.

I did that and it worked. I think something may be wrong with your upgrade functionality through the app if that is required to fix the issue.

Hi James, would you please try to fully uninstall Test Studio from Control Panel and then install it again via the installation file from the Telerik website - http://www.telerik.com/account/your-products/download-list.aspx?skucid=94.
