index was out of range error while apply test update
Sometimes when I am debugging a test, a step is trying to locate an element but could not find it so I update the element during the test run.

When I get to point of letting the test fail so I could apply the updates to the elements, I get to the Apply test Update window and click Apply, I get this error.

System.ArgumentOutofRangeException: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentOutofRangeException() at Artoftest.webaii.design.execution.findexceptionupdateinfo.applyupdate() at ArtofTest.webaii.design.ui.executionupdates.onpreprompt(dialogresultprompt).

These "updates" do not get applied...There is another error I get fairly regularly that occurs on the same window and does get applied even though it says there was an error. I will try to get a screencast of that error.

The problem is in the algorithm we are using to determine the steps which find expressions need to be changed and more specific when these steps are placed inside of a logical step. The fix is under QA attention right now and if everything is ok, it will be included in our next official release or internal build.

Just out of curiosity, I assume you investigated the issue and figured out what causes the problem. Could you explain what was happening?

Yeah, we need to replicate that then try to isolate and address the problem. Thanks for reporting it!

This is the other error i was talking about. In this particular instance, it did not apply the update.
