Allow users to edit element expression & find logic properties directly in the Elements Explorer Properties window
If a user wants to edit the properties of an element used in a test, they are currently forced to do so via the GUI expression builder.

It would be beneficial to allow power users to edit the expression & find logic properties directly in the Properties window in Visual Studio, without having to use GUI expression builder accessed via Elements Explorer -> Edit Element.

This would be particularly useful when other bugs / features prevent the GUI expression builder from running the web site under test in the desired browser, as is the case in my project.

Of course, I'd also like to see the other bugs fixed, but I also see advantage in this additional capability. Once you've learnt how to craft the expressions, the GUI builder is inefficient - even if using the "Advanced" option.

Hello,

Honestly I'd prefer to see the "other bugs / features" addressed instead or at least in the meantime. ;-)

As to this request in particular, the find logic is essential for the test automation and editing it is highly error prone. That is why the Find Expression Builder is helping the users build their elements find logic as necessary.

Regards!
