Enable running multiple tests as different users in parallel to test for concurrency issues
We develop applications with user interface (GUI) in browsers (html - telerik). We need to test these application with several users accessing it at the same time to look for concurrency issues.
I suggest enabling the testlist scheduler to be able to run several tetslist at the same time (different threads) - if we try this now the testslist run 1 after the other.
The suggested scheme I found on the forum of using a several machines to do this seems uneccessarely cumbersome: On 1 machine we would have to run a VMPlayer (with full a OS (Win7) and a runtime license (?)) for each list.
Also in this contect re-using the same tests with different parameters would be helpful (data-driven is hooked up to each test so this does not solve being able to use the same test with different logon credentials).
Seems to me that such a feature while making TestStudio a significantly better product also would be relatively easy to implement.....
