Hello,

A feature set around export to HTML results has been implemented in Test Studio Web & Desktop for the next official product release - R1'17 planned for early 2017. It includes:
- Options to export to XML and HTML in Test Studio Results View and standalone Results Viewer applications.
- Email selected result with default email client
- Command line runner -xml and -html arguments to output .xml and .html results
- Scheduling email attachment options for XML and HTML
- Exporting multiple selected results at once.

The HTML output includes expand/collapse options and failure details (with expected vs. actual images) in case of failed test. The HTML has also been implemented with responsive design and is mobile devices optimized as well.

Happy Holidays, everyone!

Manasi Bhatawadekar's comments capture the need for this functionality very well.

This would be a great feature to export aiiresult to html or trx. This functionality enables the team to view the results without requiring test studio.

We totally need HTLM results to be generated as the current aiiresult reports are nor readable by the audience who do not have Test Studio installed on their machine. This is a big drawback when I want to publish the results in my company across teams and senior management. Please provide this functionality on priority. This would be of great help!

Thanks,
Manasi

Most of other vendors client automation tools will provide options to generate report in command line runners in different formats PDF, HTML, XML etc. after test runs. It is most desirable feature.

Having the ability to export or even have the scheduling server act as a webserver so that anyone can see the tests and test results is extremely important given continuous delivery / agile cycles.

Please implement Test list results in html along with the screenshot link of failed test cases.

Since it is a common requirement and will be very useful for the automation testers.

It would also be good if this was deliverable as an option from artoftest.runner.

We are running tests with Telerik Teststudio at development, acceptance and production environment on a daily basis, for several browsers (IE, FF, Chrome, Safari).

This results into numerous test results, which we would like to view quickly.

We would like to get an overall figure if a test fully succeeded for all environments and browsers (good/wrong), and then have an opportunity to drill down to environment level (3 figures), and the possibility to further drill down to browser test level of a certain environment, and below this level we would like to see the detailed test results.

If possible such test results should be provided in HTML-format, so everybody can directly access such information, and navigate top-down through these test results.
Such a feature would allow us to provide high-level management information, and also allow our developers to quickly detect which issues have been found.
