When I open a test project from TFS it does not remember the local folder that I have the test files at. It always prompts me to select the local location on my file system where to save the project to.

Hi Daniel, can also attach the project you get this exception on. We don't actually need the test cases, just the project and one test (it could be empty). You can open the project from tfs, copy it somewhere, delete the tests that are inside and send it to us (just make sure that at least one test remains in the project). You can attach it to this feedback item or send it in a ticket. This seems a rather tricky problem which we are unable to reproduce at the moment so we need to check the project and how local/remote path are set inside it.

2 Logs attached.
"Trace Log - No Local path.txt":
1) Click Open
2) Connect to TFS
3) Navigate and select project
4) No local path, must navigate local disk to path
"Trace Log - Open Project - Connect.txt"
1) Open project from Recent Projects screen
2) Receive error message (in the log).
3) Click "Connect" for TFS and all is well.
Hi Daniel, I have created a feature item about the problem you are describing. It's a feature request you can find it here: http://feedback.telerik.com/Project/117/Feedback/Details/63817-make-it-possible-to-save-the-last-used-path-in-source-control-when-you-open-new-p
As for the original problem, we really need the log in order to understand the problem and to be able to reproduce it and fix it.

Hi,
We need to replicate the problem in order to investigate what we could do about that. Can you help us with details please? See the previous comment from Miroslav.
Thanks!

This is a major gripe of mine as well. I have some very nested paths, and while it is only a few extra seconds each time, if I open 10 different projects a day it is quite annoying.

Hi Mark, can you attach test studio log to the feedback item ?
From the behavior you describe it looks like there is a conflict that apepars when you map a project once with a certain workspace and then attempt to open the same project in a different workspace. In this case you shouldn't be able to check-in and should get an error in the log. Can you open the project, download it again when prompt (it should open), then make some change, save and attempt to check-in. After you've done that please attach the test studio log.
Actually even if it turns out this is not the case, the log will help a lot in finding what exactly the problem is.

Really? I have to vote on this? I mean this should be basic functionality of "TFS connectivity".
