Dropping code behind files from test
There needs to be a easy way to drop a test from having a code behind reference in its properties from test studio.  

When in Visual Studio, if I do not have a need to have a code behind file for a test with no coded steps in it, I could simple delete it.  I check the properties of that test and it shows that it no longer has a code behind file.  

Also in the scenario where a test has a reference to a code behind file, I cannot create a coded step.  The attached file is a video to demonstrate exactly that.

No, there is no (need for) such option in VS because we benefit from the Solution Explorer option to delete the code behind file as you pointed out.

Could you show me where that functionality would be in Visual Studio? 

I dont see it.
