Hi, with the new recorder UI that we introduced in Test Studio 2014.R4, you are able to undock the whole recorder. This fixes the issue here.

At the moment we don't have a solution to this problem. In future we are thinking of making the recording panel movable or dockable, which will resolve that issue. Unfortunately for now I cannot say when exactly this would be implemented.
