With Test Studio 2013 R1, the .tstest files and the settings.aiis file are written in JSON data format. All content is in single line making it hard to read.

Telerik: we have improved the default JSON formatting to be not a single line, but multi-line which is in better readable format now. The implementation will be available in our first internal release after 2015 R1, planned to be out by the end of April 2015.

Hello,
JSON is a common format as well and there are readers available out there to help getting a friendly content. For example:
http://chris.photobooks.com/json/default.htm
If you need to read or edit the TS test files though I'm curious to find out why. We probably need to think of how each particular scenario can be solved rather than relying on the format of the tests to work-around a specific problem.
More details on such feedback are welcome.
Thanks!
