Screen reader applications read the report items' AccessibleDescriptions in incorrect order or multiple times

When using screen reader applications like JAWS or Narrator, those tools read accessible reporting PDFs in an incorrect order. For example, if I have two items in the report, the reader will read the second item first.

Additionally, images whose AccessibleDescription I have set may be read multiple times..

Hi Pramod,

Thank you for your inquiry.

We have already fixed the current bug report, as indicated also by its status.

You need to upgrade to at least 2026 Q1 (20.0.26.424), where the issues were addressed. This is a must to take advantage of the fix.

We have a similar issue that is not yet addressed, though: The alternative text of some accessible items, like graphs, is read multiple times by the Acrobat Reader's 'Read out Loud' functionality. You may vote for it to increase its priority.

Regards,
Todor

Hi Team,

I am still waiting for an update regarding the solution for the Multiple Time Read Logo Description issue.

We have already spent a significant amount on this project, so I would appreciate it if you could provide an update on the current status and the expected resolution timeline.

Looking forward to your response.

Thank you.
