The rotated text using Times New Roman font appears truncated in the Html5 Report Viewers. The text is properly rendered in formats other that Html.

If the command for fetching Report Parameter AvailableVlues times out, the WPF Viewer freezes with hidden parameters' area, i.e. it is not possible to enter other values and the application needs to be restarted.

It would be nice to have a report viewer component that does not rely on the full .net framework as described here. https://docs.telerik.com/reporting/html5-report-viewer-asp-net-core-2. I have a project that is not built against the full framework and would like to integrate reporting without converting all of my projects.

When in a Report section an item (e.g. Crosstab) grows horizontally, it may introduce horizontal physical page breaks due to insufficient space. The corresponding horizontal page breaks would be multiplied across all the physical pages that would be normally generated (i.e. without horizontal paging). Usually, these extra pages will be blank. In most cases having an option to remove these blank pages would be very useful.

in the real world, an exception can really occurs in the resolve method, and I want bubble this unknown exception coming from resolve method and not a custom exception written in GetParameters method

A valid URL, part of which is '/respuestas%2F138%2F116?' contains the substring '%2F' that is the URL Encoding for '/'. The image from the URL can be successfully opened in a browser. It cannot be resolved properly from the Reporting engine, as the actual request made for the image (as seen in Fiddler) contains '/respuestas/138/116?' instead of the original part - note the '/' replacing the original '%2F", which is not valid and causes a '400 Bad request' error.

Much like the way Excel has the ability to utilize VBA functions. it would be usefull and more conventient for developer if they could include custom functionality/functions in a report rather than use an external assembly.  The steps involved to include/use an external assembly is daunting at best and not at all straight forward.

Something like you right click the report and one of the menu options is "Add Custom Function".  Or in the expressions dialog box have an option to create/add a custom function.

You get the point.  I'm sure your team of developers could come up with something.

Please consider adding an RTF Text Box control to your report toolbar. Crystal reports has this ability which we've used on many of our reports. Currently the only work around for changing the RTF data to something that Telerik Reports will print cleanly, is to create a user defined custom function.

Support to display a SVG file in the PictureBox. When viewing a report this looks fantastic and of course superb for printing.

The fields of the report's data source are not available in the DocumentName evaluation context. It would be helpful if one can use an expression like =First(Fields.ClientName) for DocumentName.

I am currently using the Telerik Reporting 13.0.19.222 software to generate an annual report that we will send to our constituents. I can render the report to a multi-page PDF for emailing and local archiving with no PDF standard or PDF/A-3b just fine. However, we intend to send the rendered PDF reports out to be printed and mailed by a publishing company that has requested that the documents comply with the PDF/VT standard.

Is this something that is being considered and/or implemented in a future release?

Thank you in advance,

Grant Hoelscher

I have a requirement for my report book to feature a title page and *THEN* a table of contents for the report book, followed by the report book's content. Currently, the TOC for a report book can only go at the beginning or the end of the book. My requirement required the ability to specify the TOC position more generally.
Here are two possible approaches:

1. Implement the requirement as it is stated by allowing the report book's TOC to be positioned after such and such a report - the nth, or some other means of identification.
2. Honour the TOC for a report book that is nested inside another. I created a 'sub book' with the TOC as its first page and then added this an outer book. Unfortunately, the inner book's TOC was not honoured and the report was skipped.

To my mind, the second suggestion above feels easier to implement (but I am guessing, of course). It certainly would allow just about any combination.

The Fonts meta information in the PDF rendered document is incorrectly populated. It contains entries for missing Font subfamilies, i.e not available during report rendering. We observed this with Franklin Gothic Medium Condensed font that has only Regular subfamily.
