As promised, I have spoken with the development team and am replying to this official Feature Request.

The existing app is a Windows Forms based project, with critical data access dependencies that are not yet available in a cross-platform context. While there are probably ways to replace the data access models with a .NET 8/9/10 equivalent, and even build a macOS UI using Telerik UI for Maui, it still comes down to a complete rewrite.

I don't want to falsely set your expectations on any time scale by which this may be accomplished, so we will keep this Feature Request open to track demand and interest in making the tooling available for macOS.

I know we already discussed your current project and how you were able to move forward, so this comment is for anyone visiting this thread in the future:

Since the database cache configuration tool works on Windows and is a one-time operation, our recommendation would be to gain temporary access to a Windows 10/11 machine (pc or vm), run the tool to do the configuration in just a few minutes, then go back to the non-Windows system for the future of the project.
