Web Report Designer: List Table doesn't delete

In Web Report Designer I added a List to my report groupHeaderSection and then couldn't delete it. It switched it to a TextBox. When trying to delete the TextBox the number of the box increments up/down.

There are times when I can't drag it to a different location.

Hi Marvin,

Thank you for the video!

This behavior is caused by the fact that when a list report item is created, it also has a panel inside it. When it is clicked on the list, it actually selects that panel so when the Delete key is pressed, it deletes the panel and replaces it with a textbox. 

To delete the whole list, follow the steps:

  1. Click on the list item, this will select the panel/textbox inside it.
  2. Press the Escape key which will now select the parent item(the list) of the panel/textbox
  3. Press the Delete key

Besides that, the item can also be deleted from the Explorer tab.

With that being said, the UI could be improved to be more indicating that the selected item is not the list itself and thus I have approved this item.

I've attached a video in the .zip file.

What you don't see in the video is when I'm pressing the Delete key. You can see the TextBox number changing.

I tried this on a different report, and was able to delete it. Is it something to do with the report itself. I've attached the report as well.

Hello Marvin,

I am afraid that I have not been able to reproduce the described behavior based on the scenario that you have shared.

Would you please share what are the exact steps that I need to make in order to reproduce this issue from a new report?

If possible, please shoot a short video to demonstrate what needs to be done.
