The text in a PDF file is not selectable in Adobe Acrobat Reader when the document is created with enabled accessibility features

When the PDF rendering extension has its "enableAccessibility" setting set to true, the text in the produced document cannot be selected using the Select Tool from the Adobe Acrobat Reader context menu. The text can be selected in other PDF readers like Foxit PDF Reader. The text is also selectable in Adobe Acrobat Reader when the document is created without enabling the accessibility features.

Hello Gary,

The bug is not being worked on, as it is currently not in our plans for the upcoming R3 2022 release, though that may change in the future.

When the bug fix is scheduled for a release or when work has begun, a notification will be sent to all users that have voted for this item.

With that being said, as a workaround in the meantime, you may indeed disable the accessibility feature by setting the EnableAccessibility PDF device info setting to false.

For more information, please refer to PDF Device Information Settings | Telerik Reporting

Hello,

Is this bug being worked on? Alternately, is there a way to disable the "enableAccessibiltiy" feature?
