WebAssembly based Report components (viewer and web designer)?

Do you have an updated road-map or plan to support Web assembly (WASM), especially Blazor? You already published Blazor articles in your blogs.

It will be a good idea to add a new report viewer based on Blazor, protecting the parameters between the viewer and its API controller.

Also, will be a very good idea to start your online report designer (like alternative products), based on web assembly

Hi,

Both Blazor Report Viewer (based on the HTML5 Report Viewer) and Blazor Report Designer (based on the Web Report Designer) are now available. The most recent release added VS item templates for easy setup of both components.

Hello Mohamed,

Thanks for sharing this idea. We have no plans to make the report generation engine available on the client. It heavily uses strings measurements and drawing and other low level font related calls which are better handled on the server. We are keeping an eye on Blazor, to see how it is gaining traction. This will determine if and when we will work on dedicated report viewer component. Such a feature request will help to track the demand as well.

As for a client side report designer, we will have the idea in mind once working on the implementation.
