Quick charts zoom by rectangle selection
Our client is strongly requesting a "zoom" by graphical selection feature, as available in their former tool qlikview (or amcharts, for example).
I am surprised this feature has not been requested yet, since any user would greatly benefit from it.
It's an extremely powerful and intuitive way of restricting your selection of report input parameters in a visual manner.
By drawing a rectangular selection with mouse over the graph, you restrict the range of both x and y axis to the selected ranges, allowing quick zoom to the area of interest
Examples: just draw selection rectangles on a chart in one of the examples below

Hi, the feature described is expected in live dashboards products, which are highly interactive, consist of one single page and are usually implemented to support live preview on a monitor only into one single technology (web lately). To support quick changes they have partial rendering of the dashboard, etc. Such features are hard if even possible for implementation into a classic reporting tool like the Telerik Reporting solution. Additionally, Telerik Reporting supports report viewer controls for various technologies, making such rich interactivity support even more challenging. What you might use instead is a live control that provides zoom/pan: https://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/scatter-charts/custom-pan-and-zoom .
Please vote and comment on the dashboards support feature here: https://feedback.telerik.com/Project/162/Feedback/Details/126357-dashboard-designer-for-data-visualisation-made-easy-for-the-end-user
Thank you for the input.
