Report, pdf add support for vector images.

Hi there, It would be nice if the vector images included in reports could be preserved when exporting as a PDF. I have some emf images which I use in our reports and when viewing everything is lovely vector, as soon as I export it though the image is converted to a bitmap.

Is this still out of scope? It would be very powerful to have the ability to render a svg-based imaged (EMF) instead of GDI+ image. 

We need to import single line diagrams for example into reports and the business wants it to remain vector-based when exporting to PDF. If Telerik Reporting can't facilitate this, its a possible deal breaker as far as using it is concerned. 

As a side-comment, there are competing products (similarly priced) that do have the ability to import a EMF into the report, produce a PDF and preserve the imported vector-based EMF.

Hello Kurt,

PDF and EMF formats can both contain vector graphics, but are not limited to vector graphics only. PDF and EMF also have different internal structure. Thus, in order to convert an EMF to PDF and then embed it one would need to create or use a separate software product. Creating such software will be very time consuming and is also out of the scope of the Reporting suite.
