Visual FoxPro ODBC and OLEDB drivers are not discovered by the 32-bit Standalone Report Designer built against .NET Framework 4.6.2

I have successfully installed the ODBC and OLEDB providers for Visual FoxPro 9 and they appear in the Windows 32-bit ODBC Data Sources under System DSN.

The drivers are discovered when I use Standalone Report Designer x86 from 17.2.23.1114 and older ones built against .NET Framework 4.0.

The same drivers are not found on the same machine when I use Standalone Report Designer x86 from 18.3.24.1218 built against .NET Framework 4.6.2.

Hello Bob,

Indeed, the issue was fixed with 2025 Q2 (19.1.25.521): "The 32-bit Standalone Report Designer, built against .NET Framework 4.6.2, does not detect Visual FoxPro ODBC and OLEDB drivers."

I tested in our latest version, 2025 Q4 (19.3.25.1119), and the designer successfully found the Visual FoxPro Database and managed to establish a connection:

I used the MSI installers for the VFP ODBC and OLE drivers that Microsoft provides.

I am just getting around to testing this, so I am using the current available download, Report Designer 2025 Q4 (x86) and am still experiencing the same problem. If it was fixed when this was marked as completed, it looks like it came back.

Version: 19.3.25.1119
Target Framework: .NET Framework 4.6.2
CLR Version: 4.0.30319.42000

I do not have access to the old version to do further testing.
