When rendering reports with complex tables/crosstabs to PPTX, the layout of the generated document is incorrect.

If cells grow or shrink, if there are hidden cells, any time a report section grows vertically, the next section/table is not respecting the growing of the previous item and text prints in the wrong spot or the table overlaps the previous table.

A potential workaround is to manually convert the troublesome tables to lists where possible.

Hello John,

Thank you again for providing us with more runnable samples.

I have added the files from your ticket to our internal bug item so that they are not overlooked when the task is picked up.

Momchil,

I have privately provided three additional reports to use in testing.  I did this through a support ticket as you requested.

  • Original Ticket with 1 report example:         #1620479
  • New Ticket with 3 additional examples:      #1623270

I hope these 4 report examples can assist in testing.  Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thank You,

John

Thank You Momchil.  I will open up a personal support ticket and include three more reports for your testing.  Even though we are providing inline test data, we prefer to keep our designs private. I need a day or so to get the reports ready for your testing.

Thank You for your assistance,

John

Hi John,

Thank you for offering to provide additional samples. It is greatly appreciated!

If you do not mind sharing your reports, we would be glad to have extra examples to troubleshoot and test against.

You can either share your reports in this public thread or open a personal support ticket if you prefer.

Thanks again for your assistance.

Best Regards,
Momchil

If this bug gets picked up as one to fix, I can provide a few more example design files with inline data to aid in testing.  We have found this behavior on 4 reports.
