Log generated underlying SQL

I would love to be able to get a log of the SQL generated by the designer/VS IDE upon running a report within a debugging environment. This would help me identify any issues and make performance improvements as well. thanks.

Hello Anubhav,

Telerik Reporting does not have access to the SQL query(after the parameters are applied) because we use the DbFactory class to create a SqlCommand and to populate its Parameters collection. How it will be translated to an actual query with parameters, we are not aware of as it does not depend on our code.

For that reason, we have to turn down this request. With that being said, the best option to use instead would be some Sql Profiler tailored for the specific database.
