Hello,

We have changed the status of this item to "Duplicated" as another feature request about the same functionality - Standalone ReportDesigner targeting .net 6, was implemented starting with the Telerik Reporting - ProgressĀ® TelerikĀ® Reporting R3 2022 (16.2.22.914) release.

Thank you for using Telerik Reporting!

Hello James,

Your feature request is absolutely valid. Indeed, currently, the Standalone designer (which is a WPF application built against .NET 4.0) can resolve .NET Framework and .NET Standard 2.0 assemblies.

I set the status of the item to Unplanned. Once there is an update on the status, you will get a notification.

Currently, if you generate a report package with an ObjectDataSource (in my case the object is a DataTable) in a .NET Core project, the resulting package can not be opened in the standalone designer
