Remove blank pages due to horizontal page breaks
When in a Report section an item (e.g. Crosstab) grows horizontally, it may introduce horizontal physical page breaks due to insufficient space. The corresponding horizontal page breaks would be multiplied across all the physical pages that would be normally generated (i.e. without horizontal paging). Usually, these extra pages will be blank. In most cases having an option to remove these blank pages would be very useful.

Hi Lester,

Since R1 2021 SP, the rendering engine may be forced to skip all pages that do not contain significant content. The latter is considered blank and this includes all pages that only contain items of the following type: Report, Group, any Section, empty SubReport item, Cross-section item, i.e., they do not contain items like TextBox, PicturePox, Table, etc.
You can still control this rendering behavior, so that pages that do not contain significant content get rendered by setting the SkipBlankPages property of the report to False.

Hi Michael,

The feature will be planned for the next year 2021. We will do our best to implement it for R1 2021 SP1 (February) or R2 2021 (the middle of May). It is not planned for the initial release R1 2021 scheduled for the middle of January 2021.

We agree that the feature is indeed very useful in multiple scenarios. We will implement it as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot promise it for the next release R3 2020, as we have tasks with higher priority. In my scenario, I placed a rotated table in a list to display several tables in a row.

This also results in blank pages between them. Todor gave me this link to this feature request.

Of course, I cannot judge how long it can take to solve this problem,

but we would be really helped if this was solved promptly,

even without having to collect 30 votes.

This is especially important when using the Table of Contents or trying to create a cover page using the report header. In those cases the blank pages that result after the report header/TOC seem to serve no useful purpose.
