Fit width in one page when exporting to XLSX or XLS
One of the main features the clients require when exporting the reports to XLS or XLSX is to have the page width already set to 1 page. But for none of these exporting options, this is possible, unless you intercept somehow the export functionality prior to rendering the document to the client

Hello,

This idea might be feasible for implementation using the Excel Page Setup settings so we are changing its state to Unplanned and would look wais for implementation once scheduled. Meantime you can share additional details.

Hi,
I have a report which has around 30 columns. This report needs to be exported only to XLSX, no other format. If I make the report to fit the width in 1 page from the design, it means that I will need to set the font size to 4/5 pixels. This will be barely readable and especially if you rotate the column headers to 270 degrees, the font will look very strange (more like a picture than a text). So, if you set the page width to be larger than 1 page in design but you set the width of it to 1 page when exporting to Excel, the report will look nice with the font of 10/11 pixels and when printing from Excel it will still fit in 1 page width

Hi, can you please elaborate on the exact use case? With the current report definition you can specify the report width and if the items are not growing horizontally (like a crosstab with dynamic column groups), the generated report will not be wider. So if you design your report to fit on A4 paper, it will. Please explain.
