I am using Telerik Report Designer 15.1.21.512

I have created a Web Service Datasource:

The returned Raw String in Preview Data in the Wizard:

Raw

{
 "Ordinal": 0,
 "Cardinality": 1,
 "Tuples": [
   {
     "Ordinal": 0,
     "Members": [
       {
         "Name": "Total ProfitLossBalance"
       }
     ]
   }
 ]
}

Everything appears to work, however the Datasource returns an Error:

System.NullReferenceException: Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt.

I have C# external c# function that my report is uses =pws_service.Reports.ReportFunctions.IndentLevel(Fields.Pad, Exec('table5', AllDistinctValues(Fields.Pad)))

It looks like the report designer is unable to locate the c# function code. Is there a configuration to say where this code lives?

Hi,

Yesterday I upgraded our application to Angular 11 and the builds started failing with a couple of different errors. First of all there was this with Ivy enabled:

Checking the initExtDeps.js file, this error is completely legit since it has a path to file with Windows notation. Our builds run in Linux containers, making this fail, obviously. Changing that file manually makes to requre like so

window.kendo = require('./telerikReportViewer.kendo.min');

makes the build succeed.

When disabling Ivy I'm getting the following error, which I was unable to resolve:

Error: Cannot determine the module for class TelerikReportViewerComponent in /home/sylvain/aline-web/node_modules/@progress/telerik-angular-report-viewer/dist/cjs/telerik-report-viewer.component.d.ts! Add TelerikReportViewerComponent to the NgModule to fix it.
I tried the 3 latest versions of the viewer component, all of them had the same issues.

The problem with the web report designer occurred after updating to R1.2021version. I used a web service datasource in a report and created one inline and one query parameter. But as you see from the attached file, the values of those parameters are shown as Object instead of showing real value. I see this issue after updating to R1 2021, but in the previous version, it was showing correctly. If you open the report via Standalone Report Designer it shows correctly.

When editing an existing SQL data source from stored procedure, the "@" before the parameter name got dropped. Causing the report not passing the report parameter value to the query parameter

Hi,

When you put controls (textbox or anything else) in the report header section and choose to hide the report header, all controls are deleted. if you did it without taking attention and start the report, you loose all the content in the report header.

Thanks,

I believe I have the updated item, but it still does not work. I'm using Telerik Report Designer version 14.0.20.219 and I'm adding the WebServiceDataSource as follows with the following results (BTW this from a remote session at 1920x1080 and the program handling of this resolution is poor):

Add service URL parameter:

Set External Data File:

Set Parameters:

Click download - which will fail for the Web data source and should load the JSON data file; but:

Please advise -- and please work on the handling of this screen resolution.

Hi,

i have a very big problem with Telerik Reporting after upgrading from version 2017 R3 (11.2.17.503) to the latest version.
I tested also the version (2018 R3, 2019 R1 SP1, 2019 R2 SP1).

After installing the newer version, customers see data of other customers!!

I have a multi-tenant system. All of our report data sources filters by the logged in user TenantId (ASP.NET Identity).

But with newer versions if a second user opens the same report, he gets the data from the first user.

You can find a working repro here: https://github.com/IT-CASADO/Telerik-Reporting-Bug1

Clone the project and bring it to run. In branch "master" you find the working version, and in the branch "features/v13.2.19.918" you find the broken version.

Regards,
Daniel
