PdfProcessing: Signature flags support

Currently, signature flags, represented by the 'SigFlags' optional entry, are not imported and exported, and there is no API for setting them.
As a result, documents signed with RadPdfProcessing (or with RadPdfViewer) appear in Adobe Reader without the blue 
document message bar at the top (the analogue of the RadPdfViewer's SignaturePanel).

If the API is supported, setting the flag to 1 or 3 would ensure that the message bar would be visualized in Adobe Reader.

This item will be available in R2 2022 SP1 Release. 

It is also available with Telerik UI for WPF's latest internal build - LIB 2022.2.530 (30 May 2022) if you need it earlier.

After a discussion, we concluded that indeed the message bar is not shown because of the currently unsupported SigFlags entry. I converted the type of the feedback to 'Feature request' and updated the description accordingly. 

For the time being, the request is not scheduled for a particular release. If you are following the item, you would get notifications on potential status updates.

Hello Miguel,

We've investigated further, and it seems the issue is caused by not exporting a currently unsupported flag - SigFlag. There is no workaround with the current version - we will additionally discuss the issue with the team and I will let you know of the outcomes of the discussion in the following days.

Hi.

Thanks for your message Boby, has guided me to make new tests.

I was using a paid product from Foxit and, after doing some tests, I discovered that the "accessibility check" has nothing to do with the problem described initially.

I have tried with an old PDF, a document created with version 1.3 of PDF that does not comply with the PDF / A standard. When digitally signed with Adobe, the blue message bar is displayed if the document is opened with Adobe Reader, but when the same document is digitally signed with Telerik, when opening the document with Adobe Reader, the blue message bar is not shown.

It is a problem that I have observed with any PDF document signed with Telerik that opens with Adobe, something that does not happen with the digital signature of other products like ITextSharp with which I have done some tests.

It is not a serious problem that prevents the use of Telerik's digital signature, but most of our clients usually use Adobe Reader to open PDF documents. If they do not see the message bar to which they are accustomed, it can be a little problematic for them.

I will continue with the tests ... but currently I have no idea what the problem might be.

Hello Miguel,

I am using the latest free version of Foxit Reader, and was not able to find similar menu in the UI. Are you, by any chance, using a plugin, or another paid product from Foxit? 

Judging from your description and the error message though, if checking for accessibility means validation for the PDF/A1-a standard, such standard is currently not supported. We have the feature request logged in our public portal here: PdfProcessing: Add support for PDF/A-1a and PDF/A-2a compliance levels. The feature requires creating separate accessibility tree of all elements, so probably the error message is related.

Hello.

I want to make clear that Foxit Reader does not recognize the signature and that the error of "Form field outside the tree" is occurring when checking the accessibility of the document.
